The
Advanced Design Small tooling (i.e.
ADS 0° tooling) cuts any type of small seats like
motorcycle and import engines. The Advanced
Design Negative tooling (i.e. ADN 0° tooling)
cuts any type of seats up to 45 Rockwell. The Advanced
Design Positive tooling (i.e. ADP 8° tooling)
cuts only harder seats of Rockwell 45 or higher. |

UPGRADES
OF THE NEW SERDI TOOLING
|
|
|
| |
The tool
holders and bit holders
are more rigid and there is a better fit between
the tool holder and the bit holder (larger forks
and more blocking screws). It takes only one
screwdriver for any blocking screws!
|
|
|
| |
More contact surface
between the bit and the bit holder increase
the seat angle value repeatability (with
a bigger TORX blocking screw T15 reference # 012205).
|
|
|
| |
This new generation
of SERDI tooling provides more than 30%
decrease of cutting forces during machining.
|
|
|
| |
The
ADN 0° tooling can cut diameters
from 16mm/0.630" to 70mm/2.760" and is suggested
as the standard equipment for all SERDI machines.
Depending of your application, the tool holder
S5731 can be used to cut diameters from 60mm/2.360"
to 120mm/4.720" and is available as optional equipment
with 20mm shank pilot.
The
ADP 8° tooling can be chosen instead
of the 0° tooling depending of the hardness
of the seats.
